Job Summary:

10+ years’ experience with demonstrable success in business development domain; at least 4+ years of direct experience in engineering services domain. Excellent communication skills with ability to lead presentations. Should have experience and able create marketing collaterals. Should be flexible to travel across within and outside of India. Should have excellent networking skills. Should be a people person. Should be interested and open to adopt new ideas and methods of working.

  • Perform market research to identify new opportunities, develop and drive strategies for pursuing those new opportunities via an established business development funnel
  • Assess, clarify and communicate customer’s needs. Translate customer needs into specific, actionable initiatives
  • Meet with customers/clients face to face or over the phone
  • Foster and develop meaningful relationships with customers/clients to ensure that they are retained
  • Think strategically - seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives in order to develop and improve the business
  • Have a good understanding of the businesses' products or services and be able to advise prospects/clients about them
  • Drive and expand engineering services & solutions sales
  • Own & execute promotional strategy and activities
  • Create marketing collaterals including white papers, case studies, presentations etc. for promoting the services and solutions
  • Suggesting upgrades/recommendations on services and solutions based on feedback/interest from clients or market demand.
  • Attending networking activities to research and connect with prospective clients
  • keep abreast of trends and changes in the business world to ensure the business offerings remain relevant
Essential Skill set:
  • Hands on experience of managing complete existing product development activities (Namely Cost out, Quality and Product obsolescence) for product-based organizations.
  • Good experience on existing product development process and working with remote team.
  • Strong in mechanical engineering fundamentals
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Minimum of 5~8 years of relevant engineering experience
  • Experience in Vendor Qualification, developing Manufacturing Quality plan, Tooling and component qualification & Thorough understanding of PPAP process.
Desirable Skill set:
  • Excellent organizational skills required to manage small and large projects.
  • Ability to apply engineering principles and practices in the design, development, and verification of possible solutions
  • Ability to develop design concepts and turn into finished/product launch.
  • Mechanical design knowledge ranging from component design to system level.
  • Knowledge on either one of the below processes

    • -Value engineering methodologies and how to apply them.

    -Quality Project execution and standards such as Risk assessment, Root cause analysis procedures, DFMEA, PFMEA, ISO, etc.

    -Obsolescence management

  • Knowledge of DFM & DFA with respect to ease of manufacture and assembly.
  • Oversee testing and analysis of products to determine product performance.
  • Knowledge of various fabrication methods for the manufacturing of metal and plastic parts – machining, welding, sheet metal fabrication, and injection molding is required.
  • Skilled in 3D modeling software (Solid Works) is preferred.
