SCIP Regulation

The SCIP (Substances of Concern In articles, as such or in complex objects (Products)) database is a regulatory tool established under the EU Waste Framework Directive (WFD). It mandates that companies report any articles containing Substances of Very High Concern (SVHCs) present above 0.1% by weight to the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA). This requirement ensures transparency about these substances throughout the entire lifecycle of products and materials, including at the waste stage.
