Sr. Lead Component Engineer

Job Description:

• Manage and assist all activities involving component obsolescence and life cycle.
• Strong experience in environmental compliance, component engineering life cycle management tools, ERP/MRP tools and PCB design tools.
• Manage data in the global electronic component database.
• Reviews all requests for components to assure that a current part can satisfy the requirements.
• Maintain all global electronic components database activity (Obsolescence, PCN, ECAD, AVL & PLM).
• Extensive experience in technical applications with expertise in broad range of component part types in the electronic design/manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge on electronics database/commercial tools such as IHS, Silicon Expert.
• Experience in managing end-of-life (EOL) product management.

Essential Skills:

• Attention to details. Willing to work on a detailed level of the project whenever the need arise.
• Excellent written and verbal communication is a must.
• Experience with PCBA based product design and development process.
• Strong organizational skills to work with cross-functional teams in defining and performing project requirements.
• Working experience with global engineering environment.

Desirable Skill:

• Knowledge and experience in Program Management.
• Knowledge and experience in environmental compliance management.
• Knowledge in Business process, Client management and team management.
